Position: Students’ Welfare and Career Counseling Assistant
Organization: EWU Department of Students’ Welfare (DSW) & Career Counselling Center (CCC)
Key Responsibilities:
# Analysis, Reporting and Documentation- Manage the day-to-day EWU graduates database ensuring optimum efficiency throughout all stages of the Job portal and Alumni portal.
# Liaison with EWU Clubs & Support - Provide proactive service on behalf of the Department of Students’ Welfare team, ensure compliance with the 2025 SDG Goals and objectives of the club activities and EWU management’s expectations and produce reports as and when required. Encourage increased levels of student engagement in the club activities. Provide input to internal and external meetings in relation to students’ events at EWU.
# Support the EWU Socio-Psyche Counselling Center by scheduling appointments for students who intend to get psychosocial support. Effectively communicate this opportunity for EWU students that helps to increase confidence, and concentration on study and eventually achieve their career goals.
# Provide all other administrative support duties as required under the supervision of the DSW & CCC team
Requirements:
Job searching graduates or Current students of the Master’s program at EWU
CGPA < 3.50
Proficient in English speaking and writing
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional documents, analyze data, and prepare impactful presentations
Understanding of the activities and objectives of the University Experience with EWU clubs will be considered an additional qualification
