Inauguration Ceremony of East West University Health and Well-Being Club

The East West University Health and Well-Being Club (EHWC) was officially inaugurated on 19 February at the SM Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery, East West University (EWU). The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests of EWU including Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro Vice-Chancellor of EWU, Air Commodore (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer, Professor Dr. Mobarok Hossain Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Social Relations, Ismat Shereen, Adviser, Students’ Welfare
and Head, Career Counseling Center, Md. Sanaul Haque Mondal, Assistant Professor and Moderator of the club, and Dr. Marzia Zaman Sultana, Senior Lecturer and Moderator of the club.
During the event, the distinguished speakers highlighted the importance of health and well-being initiatives within the university community. They emphasized the club's mission to promote a healthy lifestyle and provide support for mental and physical well-being among students and staff.
The ceremony also featured the introduction of the first executive committee members of the EHWC, who were warmly welcomed by the audience. The committee is expected to lead various health and wellness programs, workshops, and activities aimed at fostering a supportive and healthy environment at EWU. The inauguration marks a significant step towards enhancing the overall well-being of the university community, reflecting EWU's commitment to holistic education and student support.
