Photo Fest Asia 2024: International Photography Exhibition Opens at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy

The much-anticipated Photo Fest Asia 2024, organized by the East West University Photography Club and supported by Nur’s Foundation, opens its doors today at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. This grand photography exhibition will run from November 20 to 23, 2024, and will welcome visitors daily from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, Advisor of the Interim Government, officially inaugurated the exhibition as the Chief Guest. The inauguration and prize-giving ceremony was also graced by respected guests, including Ismat Shereen, Advisor of Students' Welfare and Head of the Career Counseling Center; Dr. M. Sayeed Alam, Associate Professor and Founding Moderator of the club; Ahmad Asif Sami and Ms. Rafayat Jalal Current Moderator of the club; and Nur Izaz, Founder of Nur’s Foundation.
The exhibition showcases 110 outstanding photographs selected from a total of 7,286 submissions by photographers from 21 countries, including participants from India, Myanmar, Iran, and others. A special tribute section displays 36 photographs captured by the East West University Photography Club members, commemorating the spirit of the July Revolution.
This open-for-all exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity for photography lovers and the general public to experience inspiring visuals and engage with a wide range of artistic perspectives.
